Obama shuts up O’Reilly, Hannity and Beck
If you want a measure of how badly the Republicans performed during their Friday question and answer session versus President Obama all you have to do is look at how Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity, and Glenn Beck covered the event. Which is to say they didn’t. Well, I exaggerate. They covered it for a total of 4 minutes and 5 seconds. Obviously, they didn’t find it as interesting to talk about as ACORN.
This confirms what the 2 videos I’ve put together document: Fox News’ comical attempts to filter the bad news – for conservatives – from their viewers’ eyes.
If this isn’t bad enough it gets worse. While I’ve mentioned before Fox News pulled away 20 minutes early from the Q&A session they covered the Republican response in its entirety.
Now isn’t that fair and balanced?

You’re beat guys, face it. People like you do nothing but talk. There’s no substance, nothing tangible in any of your positions. All you do is watch FOX News all day looking for something to grab out of context. You’re a bunch of hacks. Why not address the issues instead of just laying down childish insults. Liberals/Progressives/Socialists all have one thing in common: you’re outcasts, weaklings, the kids that got stuffed in lockers in high school. You’ve been beaten up and degraded all your lives and now it’s time for you to seek revenge. You’re the “intellectually elite,” it’s your time to evolve along with the ideology of your heroes….Marx, Ingles, Lenin, Nietzsche, Chomsky. I’ve got news for you, you’ve been fooled. Your heroes are madmen, pure evil in its most banal form. There’s time left to change, to make something positive out of your lives. Please don’t die a bunch of lonely, pitiful souls.
“There’s no substance… in any of your positions… Why not address the issues instead of just laying down childish insults. [sic]”
Then you follow this up by accusing me of being a “weakling” and that I got “stuffed into lockers in high school.” Then I’m accused of believing I’m “the ‘intellectually elite’” and my “heroes are madmen, pure evil.”
Noticing irony isn’t your strong suit it seems.
Colt Steele,
What is that…about 2 paragraphs of stereotype? I am the intellectual elite? Wow. The last bully in school who laid a hand on me went to the hospital. And btw, if I was seeking revenge, I would not be doing it with Fox News. If all we offer is talk with no substance, all you offer is tired stereotype with no conception of what we are dong here. Be comfy in that safe land of warm, predictable stereotype. I imagine it makes the world feel safe. And just a note, I did not vote for Obama, I am a gun owner and among my heroes are Teddy Roosevelt & Patton to name two.
Teddy Roosevelt was a Progressive, not a champion of conservatism.
