Guess what Fox & Friends discusses again? Lets drill!
I’m not an expert in creating propaganda so I’ll defer to Roger Ailes and his sock puppets hosting Fox & Friends but lots of repetition must be at its heart. Because Fox & Friends can’t seem to get off the conservative talking point of opening up more of America’s coastlines and wilderness to drilling. Particularly with their favorite conservative friends. And who’s a bigger conservative pal than Newt Gingrich? Did I mention Newt’s American Solutions is a shameless shill of drill, drill, drill?
But since all economists think it’ll bring immediate relief at the pumps it sounds like a grand idea. I mean how can all economists be wrong? And how do we know all economists believe this? Because Newt said so. Not only that, he has a paper rejected for publication a junior at Princeton dredged up to prove it!
Could it be Murdoch’s latest gimmick at boosting profits is to become an organ of the tax-exempt RNC as a tax dodge?
Thank you Think Progress for this hilarious moment in Fox News history.

[...] Moonbats at their Best Eyes on Fox News is a blog devoted to debunking all things reported on Fox News. It seems that the authors of this site would rather believe in the Obama sophistry of inflating tires. (Like Rush Limbaugh, I can’t believe that a serious candidate for President of the United States has introduced tire inflation as a serious part of an energy program). Like most liberals, they are really against drilling. In fact they don’t stop at making fun of fox news, they throw in Newt Gingrich for good measure. How can these people be so against America finding energy sources of our own. [...]
More proof Rush Limbaugh is a complete idiot? So why exactly do you parrot him? You enjoy straining the truth as well?
I’ll let Obama defend Obama:
Jake Tapper at ABC News finds support for the idea and uncovers the fact the Bush administration actually promoted tire inflation as a means to save gas.
Not to mention McCain’s been on both sides of the issue depending on what benefits him at the moment.
Another interesting statistic. Rush is full of enough hot air to keep every tire in America inflated until the end of the century.
Even in my foolish days as a Republican many years ago, I still could not stand that show.
