Fox’s Spin Sells; Olbermann Smells
Conservative opinion sells. Just ask the large stable of hugely popular conservative talk radio hosts: Rush Limbaugh, Laura Ingraham, Sean Hannity, Michael Savage, etc. Or you could just ask Rupert Murdoch who reported yesterday a large boost in Fox News advertising revenues.
Nazi metaphors are all too common in political debate today. Examples are endless. Their sole purpose is to demonize the other side – be it liberal or conservative. MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann has earned a well deserved raspberry by the Anti-Defamation League for repeatedly using the cliché Nazi salute in his ongoing mockery of Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly
