Update: Democrats cancel Fox News sponsored debate

It’s official. The Democratic Party has cancelled a presidential debate to be broadcast in August by Fox News. In a previous post, I mentioned a column at the liberal HuffingtonPost blog was reporting this but I was hesitant to take it as gospel until reported by the mainstream press.
Good job, Roger Ailes. The right-wing explosion at Fox News is paying rich rewards.
Note, I would have reported this earlier but – surprise, surprise - I was watching Fox News all morning and into the afternoon and they didn’t see fit to mention it. I first heard the story on CNN. Typical.
