Killing Americans for the Democrats

Does the title to this blog entry sound a lot over the top? Outrageous? Even insane? Well, not if you’re a big-name host at Fox News, it’s an election year, and your beloved Republican party needs a boost. It’s perfectly sensible. And don’t expect anyone over at “fair and balanced” Fox News to interrupt their chorus chiding the liberal mainstream media to complain about Neil either.
While Neil Cavuto has touched on American troubles and casualties in Iraq from time to time to be certain, the death toll of our soldiers isn’t his favorite topic. But today he not only covered it but accented it with a Fox News Alert as a segue to bring in two Middle Easterners, Walid Phares and Ghazal Omid, who both parrot an opinion Neil’s just so eager to accept: The upsurge in violence in Iraq is the terrorists voting for the Democrats.
I was just talking to SoD today where we discussed the obvious: Fairness and balance is more than just having someone from both sides facing each other. But, in this case, Neil tosses away even that pretense. I guess he realized his gross bias was so glaringly transparent why bother?

Her and her fellow panel parrot may or may not be right. We’ll never know because the segment wasn’t about information but espousing a point of view. No balance was attempted.
My quick take on it is their stuff reminded me of the self-serving babies in the incubators pleas we heard to get us into the first Gulf War.
I believe their opinions have been validated.
