What happened to John Gibson’s ratings?
I haven’t been tracking the numbers as frequently as I used to. So the October 4th ratings race numbers were a bit of a surprise. Is it my imagination or did John Gibson’s ratings drop through the floor on Wednesday? It’s a sad day when dry-as-desert-sand Wolf Blitzer smacks you in the cable news ratings.
A single rating isn’t a trend line so I don’t want to jump to any conclusions but this may deserve further attention.
As a ’sanity check’ I dug into The Big Story archives and, according to the published transcript, it seems John filled the chair not some second string guest host.
