Worse than Satan shows up in the Fox News studios

You’ve heard just about every big name Foxy rant about him at least once. Bill Clinton? Nope, worse. George Soros. When the Foxies can’t blame Bill Clinton for something they just claim George Soros bankrolled it.

The funny thing is, it seems to me Fox News miscalculated here. Because George Soros is much scarier as the abstract boogeyman. Exposed publicly for the millions of conservative Fox News fans to behold in the flesh he isn’t particularly radical. Ann Coulter on her full regimen of psychiatrist prescribed mood enhancers is far more extreme, albeit in the other direction. In fact, Soros is far tamer than many of the right-wing loudmouths frequently tolerated by the conservative Foxies.

Not that this deters Neil Cavuto. It’s interesting to watch as the interview unfolds how he gradually ratchets up the pressure on Soros. As I’ve said repeatedly before, rarely are conservative guests treated this way on Fox News (unless they’ve strayed from proper dogma). This becomes particularly clear in the second part of the interview. Which is sad because George Soros – hate his politics – seems to be a genuinely nice guy yet Neil feels compelled to push the interview into a Chris Wallace/Bill Clinton confrontation.

The moral of the story is liberals can’t expect fair treatment on Fox News. Still, I think Soros has some interesting things to say and I highly recommend these clips. They are among my favorites in the Eyes On Fox collection.

P.S.
Even split in two parts the interview weighed in over 20 minutes so some trimming was necessary.
