Yep, that appears to the opinion of Fox News Channel’s John Gibson. On Monday he calls in conservative she-wolf Ann Coulter to defend President Bush from Bob Woodward’s new book “State of Denial” and on Tuesday he calls in Bill Kristol to defend Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert in the Mark Foley scandal .
It appears to be a formula. The Fox News reporter feeds Gibson the convenient facts. Then comes the confortable as a old pair of slippers interview with a conservative shill. Unlike the treatment liberals typically recieve at the hands of Fox News hosts, notice there are no interruptions. Where are all the hardball questions? Oh, they’re in the folder labeled “For Liberals Only” on Gibson’s desk.
Whenever the Republicans are in trouble just call in John Gibson to contain the stink.
