If one were to Google "Cordoba Spain Christians Jews Muslims" you would find any number of views of the Cordoba House both pro and con, so it`s fairly simple to guess which view people like Pamela Geller, Newt Gingrich and the rest of those slack jawed Fox & Friends types have chosen to embrace. In my opinion, short of native American, there is no such thing as a real American. We are all made up of different ethnic and cultural back grounds brought to this country from many different lands. They are a mark of validity; a demonstration of quality. It's a logical fallacy of epic proportions proving <i><a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/America%27s_Funniest_Home_Videos" rel="nofollow">America's Funniest Home Videos</a></i> even rolling into it's 21st season and a bit weary popularity-wise is of at least double the quality of <i>The O'Reilly Factor</i>. The thing that irks me about this mosque flap is that after I hear all the screeching from the right-wingers I'm still left with the question what are they <i>really</i> angry about because their shot gunned talking points don't explain the <i>whys</i>. <i>Why</i> is it an outrageous symbol? Say it's because they're smearing Muslims broadly and they cry foul! It isn't about religion. <i>Why</i> do they think Imam Rauf is dangerous? Because he doesn't denounce Hamas? Does that make him a terrorist? When the US supported the Shah of Iran or Pinochet did that make us tyrants? <i>Why</i> does funding from Saudi Arabia, a country we are allies with and do business with, and Iran make him dangerous?
