Conservatives and gay rights are usually at odds so it’s no surprise right-wing Fox News personalities, past and present, were well represented on the GLAAD “Worst of 2008″ list.
Award winners include Bill O’Reilly, Greg Gutfeld, John Gibson, and Laura Ingraham.
Who said hate doesn’t have it’s rewards?

How time flies. I just realized a week’s gone by and I haven’t blogged at Eyes On Fox.
Looking back over an entire week gives me a bit of perspective. However, it leads to the inevitable conclusion Fox News’ transparent lie of “fairness and balance” is only getting thinner by the hour.
Of course, the big [...]

Fox News’ former The Big Story star, John Gibson, is getting face time on the cable network again. One had to wonder how long the popular right-wing demagogue’s exile to the wasteland of conservative talk radio would last.
He just made a commentary appearance on the so-called “America’s Election HQ” opposite Gregg Jarrett. Fox News featuring [...]

“Fox News can’t understand that. Bill O’Reilly will never get that. Sean Hannity’s stupid fantasy will keep him forever stuck on stupid when it comes to comprehending how you can love a brother who does not believe what you believe.” – Reverend Jeremiah Wright
Just another day in Fox News’ war on liberals, I suppose.
Of course, [...]

The big story of the day was the resignation of Attorney General Alberto Gonzales. Fox News ran with the story and to help them carry the load on Your World and The Big Story were a chorus of conservative voices. Naturally, we hear from Gonzales himself and his boss, President Bush. Add to the list [...]

“I myself had some idiot from Fox playing the tape of me after September 11th — very upset. And them calling me a phony … because, apparently, my grief didn’t mean acquiescence.” – Jon Stewart (emphasis added)
The “some idiot” is, of course, John Gibson. What the “idiot” said is covered here. Media Matters has the [...]

Nostalgia may be often touching but in the case of John Gibson’s cream puff interview of Stu Bykofsky one has to wonder with Stu pining for another 9/11. You see, Stu Bykofsky’s the author of the ‘thoughtful’ Philadelphia Daily News article “To save America, we need another 9/11.”
Now, to be fair to Stu, he [...]

Fox News headliner John Gibson, star of The Big Story, is an unabashed basher of liberals. So is anyone surprised on his radio show he resorted to juvenile name calling of Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards?
His sidekick Angry Rich mouthed off at Edwards as well: “A man who whored his wife’s cancer as a fund [...]

Watching John Gibson last week took a strong stomach. Not just because of the endless spew of tabloid sleaze viewers must wallow through but because you can’t help but to keep belly laughing at Gibby’s grand parody of real journalism. I’m starting to get the impression viewers of The Big Story are the sort of [...]

Should Gibby rename his show The Big Sleaze? White woman abductions. Fad diets. Liberal-bashing. Sex scandals. Blackmail. There’s nothing big about the stories he chooses but the smell.
But most hard news stories involving Bush White House policies are a reminder of why President Bush is unpopular. So Gibby takes his audience to a happy place.
